”Ars lunga”\u00a0Piano-Cello duo has been established in 2009 by cellist Aram Talalyan and pianist Julietta Vardanyan, since than the group has performed numerous recitals across Armena, CIS countries, Far and Near East, Europe, Iran, participating in such well-known festivals as, Talalyan brothers Festival in Yerevan (Armenia) and ”Fajr Festival” in Tehran (Iran), ”Moscow Autumn” modern music festival, Contemporary Music (Ukraine), Martisor(Moldavia), Deia(Spain), Minimes(Belgium) and many others.\nIn 2012 Duo \u201cArs lunga\u201d received a Gold Medal from Union of Moscow composers. In 2015 duo received gold medal from VIVACELL-MTS Company. A number of well-known composers wrote pieces dedicated to Duo ”Ars Lunga”:\u00a0Hooshyar Khayam (Iran),\u00a0Suren Zakaryan(Armenia),\u00a0Artyom Kokzhaev(Russia),
\nHaig Boyadjian(USA),\u00a0Jakov Jakoulov(USA), Rebecca\u00a0 Ashooghian(Iran), Mikhail Kokzhaev(Armenia) etc.
\nDuring 2012-2013 season duo has recorded live – 3 sets of complete music for cello and piano by Robert Schumann, Aram Khachaturian and Tigran Mansurian, in 2015 recorded complete Vardapet Komitas arrangements for cello and piano. Repertoire of the group is spreading from original Baroque to complete sets of standard Classical, Romantic and Contemporary works.
\nIn 2013 \u201cArs lunga\u201d completed a large scale recording project: \u201cAnthology of Armenian music for cello and piano\u201d. It contains entire music from 1900 till now days written for piano and cello by Armenian composers. Album contains 12 CDs and 60 compositions. This album has been spread worldwide and can be found in listening libraries of major universities of USA, Russia, EU, Canada, Near and Far East countries, Library of Congress(USA), as well as in\u00a0 European Public Radio stations and CIS countries Composer Unions.
\nPresently Duo \u201cArs lunga\u201d is working on \u201cAnthology of Armenian trio\u201d recording project with several Armenian violinists who live across the world.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
